Day 5...
Withdrawal shakes, pains, sweats etc... are less...
Cravings are worse.....
Anxiety still the worst thing.
But I would have had probably 20 bottles of wine by now if I hadn't quit.
That really isn't normal!
Sometimes focusing on that is enough ....
Sometimes it isn't...
Any words of wisdom from you lot of kind supportive alky gurus?😉

Oh, forgot the mood swings!
Bloody hell!
Even tho I know it's the after effects of booze,
That doesn't mean I can control my moods..
Must be hell for my family.
I put them through so much. 😡

It does get better once you get through the acute phase both physically and mentally.
Also, you will be saving a ton of money and will have so much time to do positive things.
Hang in there and take care of your body while it heals clansfan. . .

8 days here Clans... right there with ya. Sometimes that urge comes outta no where and just consumes your mind its crazy. I just try everything I possibly can to not give in to that bottle by immediately staying active, like turning on the tv or put in a movie. Read a book, log on to SR and post something... all those side effects are enough to say F you alcohol I aint going back and erasing the days ive been without ya !! Enjoy your sunday.
