liver pain
I quit drinking 3 days ago. Now I'm having an uncomfortable feeling under my rib cage on the right side. Will this go away? I also cannot sleep at all without beer. I was drinking 4 a night until my quit and still can't sleep.
Hi freespirit, i found it does take a while for our sleep patterns to settle once we stop drinking, it seems my body relied on it but I have a better sleep now, not an alcohol induced one.
If you've concerns of any pains might be worth getting checked out at your doctors.
If, you're not already, try to drink plenty of water. Helps our system.

Thanks, still too scared to go to the doctor.... Ugh....
You pain should get better over time. The liver is the one organ in the body that regenerate and heal with time. Your liver is like that filter for your body. It will take time but it should get better. Try to stay positive
