It's been just over 4 weeks since I've had any alcohol and I'm immensely proud of myself for that. I'm also really glad I found this site and grateful to have people here I can connect with and who will understand the situation and can relate.
It's been a bit of a roller coaster emotionally, with the internal conflict of "have a drink/don't have a drink" having gone round my head many times, but I've been strong and feel that I'm on a positive path without alcohol.
I also hope that removing alcohol from my life will enable me to address my issues with anxiety more head on.

I just wanted to share this, and I hope it posts to the forum as I've tried 3 times and it hasn't worked.

Nice work UKstudent on 4 Weeks !! Hope your Anxiety lessons , I know for me drinking only made it harder to control . It's not gone, but much easier to deal with
