What does AV mean?

Nothing to really write here, other than - what does the abbreviation "AV" mean? Still trying to break the entire SR code!

It is the "Addictive Voice" or the "Alcholic Voice" that lives inside our head. In the case of those who follow AVRT it has a very specific meaning, for others its a generic term referring to the voice that tells us to keep drinking/using even though we know it's not good for us.

Great post WhySoSirius , I'm losing track enjoying SR so much, but I think it's been 4 days I've been here . I seen that AV a lot in posts and said " Hmm that has to be that Voice we listen to when we shouldn't ! "

Got it! Thanks so much. Leigh, thank you for the link. I actually stumbled on that when I started lurking around here and I could not find it again. You've broken the code for me!

Hi Sirius! Welcome, you will find lots of support here.

For an intro into AVRT, try the Secular Connections forum where it is a common topic. Or take a look at http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...ined-long.html. You might find it helpful!

Hang in, and remember that you deserve to live without alcholism and other forms of addiction. You can do it!
