Thanks all - I love it when people post back their results so I'll do the same.

I'm keeping my blog here updated and have marked it public for anyone interested in following my journey.

Today I am 7 days sober!!

I've attended 5 meetings in 7 days withe on planned for later today.

I've met a couple good sponsor-possible people and some definate "close friend" candidates as well as many other wonderful people with similar backgrounds and varying ages.

Reaching out for help was quite possibly the best move I've ever made and might just save my life.

Welcome to the fellowship cejay and congratulations on your sober time.

I could never stay stopped from drinking, once I went 3 years,then drank again and it got worse. I have not drank since my first meeting in 2003.AA really does work.
