stomach rumbling over two weeks in

two weeks sober had a bit of a symptoms setback this last 3 days I basically feel shite, my stomach is violently rumbling from the moment I wake up.. come mid-day I look like a pregnant bloke and on the night time all hell breaks loose when that trapped wind makes its way into my chest and gives me some lovely pains...

im already on a ppi antacid..

healthy food and 30 mins cardio a day

my mind feels better but my body feels worse than when I drank very downhearting tbh

If you're in that much discomfort, maybe go to an Urgent Care/Emergency facility instead of waiting a week.

I agree with Bim - if you feel that bad, why wait a week, ohwell?

Right there with you at week 3.

I've been doing a lot of research. I read after years of drinking, your body has to produce more digestive enzymes since we basically washed them away for so long..so then when we stopped drinking, we are still producing too many and they aren't getting "washed out". No idea of that's true. I did a salt water flush (which normally isn't a great idea) and my stomach went down dramatically. Still feeling nauseous after I eat but ID don't know if that's just anxiety or not

ive done another post are you the same seashell? my urg doc reckons its because im stll taking my ppi ant acids and as im now leading a healthy lifestyle im creating no stomach acid which makes you feel really ill and bloated within 1 hour of getting up ill see how I feel within 72 hours as ive purchased some betaine hcl which acts as the acid for the body

I haven't been taking any meds for it. I'm kind of a hippy about meds, I avoid them as much as possible. I do eat clean.

You know, I never thought about not making enough acid... that does make sense

well I feel 60% better than when I last posted, stopped the ppi and im drinking cyder vinegar diluted 3 times a day its making me go to the toilet plenty!!! which is a good thing for a couple of days, and my belly is returning to normal flatness without the rumbling would you believe it!!

im also taking a HCL herbal tablet twice before meals to give my body assistance whilst it returns to normal acid levels
