Well done Matt, the earliest days are the toughest, a great achievement.

good job matt! my anxiety is what was causing me to drink, so with a little help from doctor prescribed lorazepam (used responsibly) I have kept anxiety at bay. lifting has helped me a great deal as well. i was in very good shape years back and just being back in the gym for a couple weeks i can already see progress from the muscle memory. almost at 3 weeks now and plan to continue.
