Buddhist recovery youtube series?
Does anyone know of anything like this?
Than I can do it regardless of work schedule and I don;t have to wait for a once a week Buddhist meeting I may or may not be able to attend.

I'm not sure about a buddahist recovery on youtube. but if thats your sort of thing maybe you might like some of Mooji's videos or eckhart tolles videos. I'm stuck on mooji myself latly. He has a way of slicen up our egos and stuffing the whole universe into a grain of sand and feeding it to us. its been beneficial for me with coping.
Sleepie hi. I posted this in the Spirituality forum last week or so.

Somebody sent it to me and I listened to the first hour, it was ok.

Count me as your dedicated Buddhist layperson : D
I would recommend a very accessible Buddhist monk, British by birth, now a resident in Australia and an Abbott of his own Buddhist monastery - Ajahn Brahm.
He in fact has a video on addictions that I think is very good - whilst funny, open minded and..Buddhist!

(Used to describe those lone male individuals who go to Dharma centers to challenge a teacher, either to try to get them angry or to test their insight with silly questions or koans. Also occurs in martial arts centers.)
Yeah I'm not sure who showed me all those paintings before, it was probably a friend who was studying psychology at the time thats part of the course. Far out anyway.
I read taking the leap by her it was good and i'm reading the places that scare you now. I really like her as well.

You must have missed the joke! And maybe I have gone to far, I should have left it at calling him a selfless laozi tao-rag
I don't know much about Buddhism other than bits and pieces that I've heard. I practiced meditation a bit, took me years.
I like those koans though. Eg. "If you think you have a problem, and you're an ego and you're in difficulty, the answer the Zen master makes to you is "Show me your ego. I want to see this thing that has a problem." When Bodidharma, the legendary founder of Zen, came to China, a disciple came to him and said "I have no peace of mind. Please pacify my mind." And Bodhidharma said "Bring out your mind here before me and I'll pacify it." "Well," he said, "when I look for it, I can't find it." So Bodhidharma said "There, it's pacified." Little aha moments every now and again like that are fun
