SR Messed up my drinking!!
I started hanging around here last July after taking my last drink June 8th. If you want to keep drinking please consider leaving now cause the good friends here on SR will indeed mess up your drinking!
The more time I spend here , the more I read and the more I interact the less I think about taking a drink.
Thank you for all who post here. You'll never know how much it means to others = myself included.
Please cast your pearls before swine. I need them

Yes, the first time I logged on here in 2010 ruined my peace of mind when drinking.
Every time I drank after that time, I knew I was doing something terrible.
That's why I was hesitant to join way back then. I knew that actually joining meant that I was actually acknowledging that there was a huge problem.

Congrats on a year, Flynbuy! That is such a wonderful milestone. I always enjoy your posts here.
One of the great things about SR -- and there are many -- is that our fellow journeyers help show us not only that it's possible, but sobriety and recovery are about so much more than abstinence.

i've been known to say to people if you listen to me long enough I might start making some sense.
I think thats how it is in aa or on this board. At first one might have a lot of doubt and questions and tug of war about how they feel about what they are hearing and reading etc.. but then stuff starts to sink in....
