What great news to hear, gnc. It's amazing how quickly we tank when we pick up again after being sober. Checking in here daily really helps remind me of where I've come from. We can't go back there - and we won't.

I just read through this thread including my first post. I have no desire to drink, only to live and take proactive steps to continue making life better.

Me than and me now are 100 percent polar opposite people. I'm glad I've arrived back at sobriety. I will never feel like I've beat it because it will always be a part of me and I know that. But I won today. I feel like the old me and it's awesome.
