Day 115
 

Day 115, had some close calls but amazingly I'm still sober. Ive had some random intense urges to just go down that booze isle at the store while grocery shopping and fill up my cart with beer,wine,scotch-you name it. Not sure how I'm still on this wagon but I am and I am thankful to be sober today. Thanks for listening. :thanks

When you get the urge to go down the aisle, try visualizing the aftermath of your drinking spree in great detail. It really helps to play that whole tape through and recall the bigger picture of what is likely to happen if you drink again.

pretty cool Matt. sometimes i get stupid ideas like that its like the little devil inside of me is like hehe lets go have some **** F-it! but my common sense side steps in and helps me realize its not a good idea.

I think its like robin williams said us alcoholics have one drink and commons sense is like alright i'm out of here you on your own with this nonsense.
