Nobody answers the phone anywhere.
I'm OK, not hurting myself or self-harming, I will get over this too. I guess I have to get over this horror alone.
Thanks to those who posted phone numbers. If any of you are willing to chat, PM me. And thanks in advance.
SR has been my only recovery tool and it has for many others; others use it as a supplement to their other recovery programs.
I hope that you stick around. There are many good people here who truly care and want to see you succeed.
there is also a Chat Room here (I have never used it); you can access it by clicking on the words Chat Room in the grey (or orange) bar towards the top of the page. There appears to be 2 people chatting now.

Your best options at this point are to (1) quit drinking ASAP and go to sleep, or (2) go to a detox center
I have very recently been where you are at this moment, and when we are under the influence of alcohol, our lives appear SUPER bleak and gloomy.

Hi,
Just FYI, here's a number you can call tomorrow: (540) 885-6912 . It's the number for the AA Intergroup in Staunton. When I called just now I got the voicemail, but it should be staffed during the day. If you call that number and explain that you need a ride to a meeting, my bet is they will find someone to take you. When you get to the meeting, you let people know you don't have transportation. Given that you're only two miles from the meeting, it shouldn't be difficult to find people able to give you a ride.
