I'm not sure if you all remember, but my husband and I used to live at my parent's house until we moved out into our own apartment. Having dinner at my parent's house tonight brought up old feelings of when we lived with them, and, interestingly, I felt less of an urge to drink while at my parent's house as compared to living in our apartment. I sort of miss those days. I think my husband was on better behavior when we lived with my parents, and so that made things easier on me. I guess our environment truly does make a difference, which is why people go to rehab, live in sober living houses, etc. etc.
