Woken to another lovely sober morning, heading to the gym then out to walk the dog I think. Fresh air on the weekend really is a lovely change from stale alcohol in my bedroom.

Hope everyone is doing well

Anyone else get a mid afternoon slump in the first few weeks sober? Could literally go back to bed at the moment. It's 14:50 in the afternoon ha ha.

I don't know that that's a sobriety issue. I've been sober 20 years and the mid-afternoon slump happens to me. If I can, I take a nap. Usually can't so I eat some peanuts, have a coffee, and keep going.

You're doing great, Bluebird.

That's ok then, the Spanish have the right idea with their siestas. Ended up having a coffee and kept on going. I am having such good sober sleep I just think I can't wait to go back to sleep ha ha.
Thank you

Back in work today, no struggle getting up, working day going well, positive thoughts. What is this witchcraft? Ha ha.

No gym today as I'm giving blood in work, be nice to give blood with zero alcohol content. Have a good day everyone

Thank you :-) I couldn't give blood as my iron levels were low, this will make you laugh, the nurse, "Guinness is good for you, Guinness and red meat" I said, "trust me, Guinness is NOT good for me" and laughed it off. Even health professionals want me to drink it would seem ha ha.

Anyway. I've not bought Guinness but I have bought iron tablets. That could explain my afternoon slumps and tiredness.

Great Monday all in all, really positive outlook and enjoyed work. On a real high at the moment, making sure I thank God for the highs but also ask he makes sure I remember the lows so I don't lose focus.

Rubbish sleep last night, pins and needles in my arms. Think it's sciatica from weight lifting. Got doctors soon.

Apart from that feeling great. Gym done and out to walk the dog soon :-) Hope everyone had a great day

Great sleep last night, great day today. Gym session blasted, hoping for another restful sleep tonight. Makes a massive difference.

Thanks Sober wolf, I'm seeing the doctor this morning. It's calmed down a lot recently but these pins and needles are worrying me. Awful again last night. Have a good day
