Went to neighborhood pub to grab some st paddys day grub. 1st sober experience in a bar on this peculiarly celebrated holiday. I said hello to some friends grabbed my food and headed out. Kept getting these urges and I would tell myself it's the ice cream calling ya! So I got some on the way home. I knew in the back of my mind I was feeling pretty darn good not to give in to the st paddys day triggers. Day 64 and feel ok. Still a little emotionless and still trying to generate some passion yet can't find it just yet. However I do find going out in public and some other social situations are way more easier to tolerate and borderline fun compared to 2 and half months ago.

My First Patty's in about 15 years as well. Now, if people would stop posting Green Beer on Facebook. Any one else take a Facebook break when they quit drinking....It's amazing how many posts are about alcohol...

We host a gathering of frineds and family around St. Patricks Day. House full of guests this past weekend and I did not even have the urge to drink. Last year, and many before, I was drunk by 12 noon.

I was not sure how it would be for me, but I had an exit plan in place just in case.
