Hello....again!
Hey all. I've not exactly a newcomer to this site, but I'm once again a newcomer to sober living. After years of stints of sobriety and relapses, I'm finally taking the further step of formal, outpatient addiction treatment at my local hospital.
I don't start until early next month, and I'm struggling to stay as sober as possible leading up to it. I haven't had a drink in 1 week, and I've already white-knuckled some pretty bad cravings.
I have a lot to say and really feel this is the best place in the internet for me to vent. Not just about recovery, but the rest of my life and problems, which is fitting because alcohol in a sense is root of my many issues.
So thought I'd check in and say 'Hello! Again!' Isn't that the title of a bad movie?
