This is my only tool and for me, it holds me accountable. And I am so grateful for my sobriety.

I just joined with 2 years sobriety & already had some tools to help cope from the few AA meetings . In reality I did it on my own .
I do wish I had known about SR before - Like 10 + years ago . I may not have messed up my family .
I live alone & like it that way ( Now ) Sobriety gave me Peace . It does seem nice to interact with others that are fighting along side me .
For what I have seen SR helps sooo many , I would give 50% to always be able to come here If or Maybe I fall to ask for a Hand Up again

I love zjw's point, I never thought I would post anywhere, but now that i do I realise how much it helps me to get it out there.

Somehow just writing it down can be so soothing.

Thanks to everyone.

Not an easy question: I opted for the 40%-60% which is higher than I would give AA and pretty pleasing to me.

I'm running in about the same spot and also attend AA.

This site is great day or night.

Not quite sure how to assign a percentage, but I can tell you that this place is very important to me and my sobriety. We understand each other's struggles, because we have all been there. That's a big deal to me. Sometimes, when someone is having a especially difficult time, I just want to hug them and tell them it will be OK. So yes, this site is a rock for me. Hopefully as I am guided and helped by this site, in some small way I am returning the favor.

I note a very high perecentage appear to be almost dependent on this site. That is a big responsibility for the site owners.

I am not sure how to assign a percentage to this site so I did not vote. But I'm here reading quietly this Sunday morning. To me that's what matters most.

Top Third

Definitely in the top third. Since I found the site yesterday and in a few minutes I'll have made it through day three. Thanks all!

I'm an expat in a rural non-English speaking country with a big drinking culture. This site helped me greatly initially then the bonds I make/made continue to help me. Apart from this site the depth of where drinking takes me is a secret. Couldn't of done it without it.

% - percentage of my sobriety owed to this site ?

Changes each day and each week.
This past week I was on vacation in the desert.
I was on this site a lot -- maybe 10 to 15 times a day.

% - percentage of my sobriety owed to this site ?
For that week would be proxy 75%.

I became a member six years ago but only started posting this last week after I prayed to God for help. So I would say 100% to both SR and God. U have probably saved my life! And I will be foreva grateful.

Day 7 and counting......

I agree with you today although mine are in slightly different order.
I hope that you have continued on from your sober day 7 there.
