yey im out

Today i was released from a english nhs mental health unit. If you have seen my previous threads, im a serial "ok im doing good but then mess up"

So yes im worried tbh. I dont think ill ever be a normal person etc

As for normal - thats a cycle on a washing machine.
There's many amazing people here on SR...I wouldn't call any of them normal

Who have you got with you?
What are you doing now?

It can all be in the past if you want it to be - the returning to drink.
Just because it has happened before does not mean it will or has to happen again.

Have you checked out AA yet?
Have you considered therapy if your health care allows?
Also you could start logging in on SR daily and participating.
Here is the link to the 24 hours recovery connection where people commit not to drink or drug for the next 24 hours. It a fun way supportive to hold ourselves accountable
