day nine

is done.

Thanks guys couldn't do it without you.

I'm anxious for when I can say two months, or more. Why does time pass so slowly now?

Work is making me quite a mess. Very stressful.

Well done, day 9 is just as impressive as day 109, just be patient and heal your body, time passes quicker than it may feel to you right now.

Good job, sleepie. Appreciate each and every sober day for what it is - a wonderful sober day. I used to look to the future - to where I felt I would have a worthy and substantial amount of sober time - but then I realized that I would still, after attaining that goal, be at risk for feeling inadequate. I began to be happy in each sober day and then the number of days didn't matter - just being sober mattered.

Work can be hard on us; it can cause us such stress. It is an outside stressor that, often we cannot adequately control.

When we drink, it is we who are doing the damage to ourselves; we can control the infliction of that damage.

Be good and kind to sleepie; she deserves it.

I'm sorry work is so hard - I hope as time goes on you'll be able to handle it better, sleepie.
Have a good weekend

guys I don't know if I am gonna make it tonight. Today was so awful. I even wrote a letter to HR that I have not sent yet. My boss makes my life and my coworkers a living hell. I even found out that all my emails sent or received go to his inbox. I was never told that. That seems really wrong to me.

Sleepie. Please think about this. It's now the weekend. You have two full days away from the office. How is drinking going to help the hell your work life is? it isn't. Drinking is only going to make your body feel much worse and mess up your mental/emotional stability.

take it from me, drinking solves nothing and creates problems that we don't need to suffer. If your workplace is eating you up like this, perhaps it's best you leave. destroying your sobreity is not worth it.

are you still seeing a therapist? If not, maybe it would be good idea to see one to help you decide if you're best served served by staying at this job.

Do not drink. I am very worried for you.

Love from Lenina
