Dry

Dry 10 years my alcoholism led to high blood pressure which led to me suffering a hemorrhagic stroke at 31 this was my wake up call, never brave enough or accepting of the alcoholic I'd become my stroke saved me,I wouldn't want others to suffer the way that I did stroke is not the way to sobriety, its the way to physical and mental disabilities

Yeah sometimes people think strokes are for later years, but I know a few that have had them in their 30s, 1 guy I know had one at 25yrs old!!

Glad you're doing well now though DELBERTM!!

Thanks for sharing, delbertm. What a wake up call! People don't think it could happen to them...but none of us are immune. I'm glad you're still with us to share your story.
