96 Days & What Has Helped Me Stay Sober
I exercise about 1 hour each day 5 days each week. This has really helped increase the good chemicals in my body that make me feel better. Plus, after gaining 15 pounds in early sobriety, I have now lost 8 of these 15 pounds, so that is making me feel better as well.
I went to several meetings in my early sobriety but have not been going as of late. I do call 2 AA contacts that I have during the week.
Overall, everything seems to be better, so sobriety is definitely the way for me to go.
In the beginning, I could not get past 3 days for a couple months - I thought I was forever doomed. But then I just was able to do it one day.

Isn't is remarkable when it just "clicks?" Suddenly we realize...hey! this feels pretty good. Then, things just seem to come easier. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and frustration, but when it clicks, you just know! Congratulations!
