Well this is the first time I've ever watched a rugby game in over 25 years without beer in hand and it does feel strange. For the North Americans among you, rugby is a savage game played by gentlemen who are hard enough not to need to wear helmets and full body armour
Unlike football (soccer) where its banned, alcohol is everywhere at a rugby game and I'm finding I'm watching people enjoying their beer rather than the game.
I'm sure I'll get used to it as the tournament progresses - but it's a new strange experience for me.
