3rd day of sobriety.

I finally admitted I have a problem and was supposed to start meetings yesterday with my mom but got effing bronchitis the day I quit drinking so now I am bed-confined. I thought it'd be a good idea to reach out for a group in some way regardless, even if it be a virtual group. [=

Welcome to SR and congratulations on 3 days!! I hope you get over the bronchitis, soon, but I do recommend reading and posting around here, lots of people who have been, or are going through, where you're at now.

Thanks so much everyone!

On day 5 and going strong! I will be exploring the site more tonight. Yesterday was my first time going out to hang out and not drinking. I chose to go out with a person that doesnt drink themselves but I still always use to bring over a 6 pack. It felt really good setting a new habit. [=
