Anyone else taking Acamprosate?

Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while, I've been prescribed Acamprosate by my GP and she said it should start to help with alcohol cravings. I'm only on day 2 so I'm not really feeling the effects of it yet. Just wandering if anyone else is taking this medicine? And if so, do you think it's helping?

I take campral and go to AA and work with my sponsor.

What's your plan?

Yep they worked for me for a week but one day i didnt take my 6 tablets and i drank again and only just back on them as of today, they can work well for cravings though.

I felt no effect when i did get cravings while taking it
