driving home on new years eve

Last night driving home after a very enjoyable booze-free dinner we passed a bar I used to work at. It was in those days a wild place. So many nights spent in that building drinking insane amounts of booze while working. The things I did. The things I saw. And new years eve was absolute obliteration at this place. But as I slowed down to take a look- morbid curiosity I guess-i saw something that really sturck me. It was closed. Totally dark. Empty. Creepy. Haunting. I went home and felt like I had just seen a dead body. As I thought about it I was okay with seeing that place a corpse but it is very strange.

Isn't it nice to able to drive anywhere at any time? I remember the first time I went to Target at 10:00 pm. What a thrill!
