Today I have made it 1 year without drinking. It's been a crazy year with a lot of ups and downs, but I haven't drank through any of it. I can't say it was easy, but it was worth it. I knew I had to quit drinking to put my life back together and I've made a lot of progress in the last year. I knew the only way I could improve my life was to quit drinking. The idea of moderation or any type of drinking was thrown out the window and I've committed to staying off the bottle.

SR has been a huge help to me since I joined here in June of 2013. How far I've come since then is truly amazing and I'm blessed to not be drinking anymore. I'm confident alcohol would of been the end of me, sooner or later, and I'm truly thankful and blessed to be here today. I plan to continue to work on my recovery and better myself, but the 1 year milestone was very big for me.
