SR has been a place to come when times are both tough, and manageable. When I've been angry, strung out, drunk, sober, hopeful, hopeless. It's not been an easy road the last few years and just when I thought I'd got a handle on this thing called alcoholism, it rears its ugly head again.

I've been sober now since Oct 19th (pretty good for me) and i'm optimistic that I can stay sober over Christmas.

I've had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful characters on this site some of which, I consider friends.

What has this place meant to you over this past year?

Welcome back Maiden and congrats on your Sobriety, I too hope it lasts through the holidays and much longer.

Regarding your question, SR has meant a lot to me over the last year. It's my main support and I would not be sober without it.
