34 Days With No Regrets

I am so glad that got sober. I am no longer feeling as anxious and stressed out. Today I was able to enjoy the day with my husband going shopping, buying a christmas tree, making a homeade dinner, and just hanging out.

I feel as if life has changed. No more hangovers, and I feel like I am smiling at work again.

When I walked down the liquor aisle today at the grocery store, there was a slight craving. But I never want to go back. Alcoholism can take so much away. I am so lucky when my husband and I were using that he did not get a DUI and lose his job, which would have been disastrous for our lives together. I feel like I dodged a bullet and now have gotten on a safer, sober path.

I know, I am so happy to be sober, but at the same time have been dealing with major stress at home. All that stress at home would become crazy if I was to drink, and I know that. But I think my sobriety is keeping everything together and allowing my husband some stable support.
