It's snowing!
 

Mid November in Oklahoma and it's been snowing all day! Being sober, I can enjoy the day with my son. No Monday anxiety and cramping muscles to think about. I used to hate Sundays. I hope everyone is having a great day

It's crazy how certain things are a lot better sober but the drink would call anyway. I even noticed this years before I became a full blown alcoholic. Often I'd be having a great time with friends or enjoying some activity and as soon as I drank everything lost its sparkle.

Glad you are having fun, it's nice to be able to enjoy stuff like that. All that white stuff is in my cross hairs tonight and tomorrow but I am getting a nice warmer flow from the coast. I guess I will see how it pans out by morning.

Happy to have enjoyed another sober weekend though and glad you did too.

The weather is certainly crazy right now. Rain predicted next week for Anchorage, Alaska!!!

Made for a lazy, relaxing day. I made potato soup and then a chocolate cake. Watched football with my son. Now curled up in bed with my big white German shepherd. I am so thankful to God to be sober.

Yes, we got the same. About an inch. Kids wanted to go to new city park and swing, climb and slide while snowing. First instinct was " no, too dangerous" but we went kinda to show them it would be no fun and nobody would be there. We got there and... surprise... there were 2 other cars and 4 kids having the time of their lives so we stayed an hour. Crazy! My older sons used to like to play basketball in the rain and I would let them sometimes (never w/lightning). Congrats on a great day sober!

I can't wait for snow. Love it. Except the cleaning the driveway part... :(
