Sorry to hear it. Divorce is very painful. I left my husband of just 3 years and even though I made the right choice I wasn't prepared for the loneliness and grief from missing him afterward. Who knows, maybe when you get sober and make permanent changes you will end up together again. The beginning of sobriety is usually the hardest but keep at it and you'll find cravings fade in intensity and become less and less frequent. Wishing the best for you both

I'm so sorry to hear that. My marriage of 12 years ended partially because of alcohol and when we gave it one last shot I discovered it was actually built a shaky foundation that existed because of my drinking (he was very codependent). Regret is inevitable but only use it to drive you forward--looking back will just make you crazy. Hang in there. Thinking of you.
SB,
Like any big emotional upheaval- getting through the divorce will be a roller coaster ride, but hang on to your rational self, and whatever you do--DON'T DRINK--it will make the ride easier.
go forward and remember you cannot change the past, nor can you live there.
these are things I have learned to be true in my life
So happy you are here.
