Hi everyone. Well this is strange one! Went out last night with a friend who both drinks (normal drinker, not a boozer) and smokes!!! Well, what can I say, yikes!!! The first part of the evening was lovely. Went to friends house to pick her up, chatted with her hubby & son, lovely. Then drove to restaurant, had a fabulous steak & chips, lovely. Then,she wants to go outside for a smoke, yuk. Hereby my evening went downhill from thereon. Basically spent the rest of the evening sitting outside a pub, freezing cold, breathing in other people's smoke and feeling awful. Woke up feeling like I've smoked 20 fags, with headache to match. So, what does one do when one goes out with a smoker???

let them go outside on their own
you'll find they smoke less that way too

I totally agree with Dee. Why should you torture yourself over your friend's bad habit?

I give thanks every day that I'm no longer a slave to nicotine and I quit twenty years ago. It certainly didn't short circuit my life like drinking or pot but I still think it's the worst!
