On Day 5

Well, I have made it 5 days now. The biggest thing that I am noticing is how much I am getting done that I otherwise would have most likely neglected because I got drunk or was hungover. Things were beginning to build up when I was drinking, but now that I have my full 24 hours, I am getting that stuff done. It also feels nice that I will be able to hang out with my husband tomorrow not hung over and functional.

Hi.
Congratulations with your five days in a row. It’s great when a plan works out and we don’t have to try to start over again. I should know!
It does get easier and the positive results get better each day.

BE WELL

Thanks for all of the encouragement. I got up today and was able to walk and run on the treadmill. It feels nice not being hung over and feeling that I can do whatever I want today.

Congratulations on Day 5 - you may be done, or close to being done with detox. Now the really hard work begins. At least for me, once I'd finish detoxing and start to feel better was when that darned AV would return.

Congratulations on 5 days! Me too! Our posts sound very similar as I was also able to get a lot done around the house and what a relief it was to wake up without a hang over! Haven't done that in a while.

We can make it through day 6!!
