Hungry, Angry, Lonely, & Tired

Wow, I haven't logged in over a year. I recently relapsed. 16 months down the drain. Luckily, I was accepted back into the outpatient program I graduated from. It's really hard for me to formulate my words, & I apologize. I also hope I'm posting in the right thread. I feel as I have all these emotions but I just can't grasp which ones. It feels different this time. It hurts not knowing what the difference is though. It's been three days since my last drink. Let me say though, I am having the worse cravings that I haven't experienced before & it makes me feel completely empty & full at the same time. What do you do when there's a war going on through your mind?

I focus on all the good things I get from staying sober. The biggest and most immediate one is waking up feeling good and not hating myself. I take better care of myself and my dogs and cats, and my animals mean a lot to me so that's a good incentive to stay sober. :)

It's not down the drain! You went over a year without alcohol! That is huge. Please don't let a mistake put you back into the disease.
