Unhappy Your face as an alcoholic

So random that the first thing I see when I get on daily mail this am is an app to see how we'd all look if we all continued to drink. very eye opening.

sorry mods if link isn't allowed

I think it has a lot to do with genetics though too, my mom is an alcoholic and at 60 looks 45 tops and is a heavy smoker too. I barely look 24/25 and am 32 so I guess it hasn't been detrimental in our lives and I'm not gonna try and find out if it will either lol

Quoted for the truth!

The examples they have do not look all that different.

This is different. Left 11/2012, Right 03/2014. This is reality!

Go figure. The key code for tinypic was meetvodka.

Ms. GracieLou -

Look how beautiful you are sober! Wow. Less than a year and a half between photos.

It is more than skin tone or puff - it is a sense of centered calm power. I can feel it through the photograph!

Thanks Not sure how I even drank again after seeing that first pic. It should have scared me straight...LOL!

I still drank 4 months after that first pic and I got the second date wrong. 03/2014 is my one year sober. That pic was taking 07/2014. So a year and four months.

When I look at that today I can't believe that was even me, but it was, it was.

Of course by the time I got that wasted I thought I was the Prima Donna..LOL

Hey Fishcakes4, thanks for the link.

I was actually told a couple of times how much clearer my skin looked after the first six months or so. I never even knew there was a problem before the comments. I suppose I was just so use to looking at the same old drunk mug, that I did not notice the changes.

(GracieLou- The difference in yours is amazing! You really look much healthier.)

Gracie, you have a really kind face. I definitely wouldn't trust the lady on the left.

I'm so glad to see my own red pigmentation go too. Ugggh.

The court house here has pictures of one's arrested so as to show the progression of the disease. With each arrest shown they age way beyond their years.

Some in 10 to 15 years look 20 to 30 years older. It's a sad thing to see but, very convincing.

My "before and after" photos also show a big difference. My face was puffier and my skin was terrible. Today I'm slim, trim and look much better at 39 than I did at 30!

My husband just tonight said my face looks so much different, younger and smoother. I've always had really good skin but even more so now.
