Jury Duty

I had a summons for jury duty This morning. It was a DUI case and I'm thinking second or subsequent offense as it was in general sessions court. The judge didn't say if it was a repeat offense, I suppose that would prejudice the jury.
I've been arrested twice for DUI but was not convicted. He didn't ask about that and I honestly don't think it would affect me deciding on a verdict. The state excused me from service for whatever reason. Do you think you could be impartial in a DUI trial?

No. :)

Plus I don't get paid at my job if I get selected for a jury. It could cost me a lot of money.

I got summoned as well for next week, the 24th of November and December 22nd.
As long as the defendant isn't someone I know, I'd have no problems remaining impartial.

Are they using the web cams on arrests where you are?

That's an interesting question. I must have driven drunk thousands of times without getting caught. I am so grateful not to be doing that anymore.

They've been using dash cams for well over 20 years.
