So Sad. WE all serve a purpose in Life as well as in our passage forward; ncognito did that for us. WE will keep that purpose alive, and active here in our SR Village

So sorry for your loss. You mentioned you could see how hard he fought this based on this forum and a recovery book he was reading. Please allow me to add he also HELPED many--no telling how many, on this site alone. That is dignity. That is purpose. And that is was his true self. Bless you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. This disease takes so many way to early. This hit so close to home. My ex-husband’s birthday was yesterday but there are no more to celebrate. He was 49 when he died of alcoholism almost 6 years ago.

It is just so sad.

My thoughts are with you and your family. Remember the good parts and take comfort knowing he was seeking help.
