It's weird.

My BF is in rehab and is moving to a sober living place when he comes back. I thought for sure when he was gone that I would really want to drink. I don't. I know I've been codependent and enabled him and have been making a lot of progress on that front.

I am just amazed at how over time drinking has ceased to be an option, even when I feel horrible. I am truly sober for me because I want a better life. I am so grateful for that.

Great attitude! When I first sobered up it was often said “we don’t drink even if our a$$ falls off.”
Years later I still believe.

BE WELL
