i went a year before i went to a meeting. I should have gone sooner. though I wonder if had i gone sooner would I have been consistent about going? In my case I think if the meetings where right around the corner and on nights where i dont have obligations to my kids etc.. I would go more.

That being said I would have made my life easier had I gone to AA sooner then I did. Just the exposure to it and finding out there are others out there with the exact same issues is pretty helpful. Friends and family and so on can only be so supportive at the end of the day another alcholic seems to understand best.

Yes of course it can be done alone. I have only gone to one AA meeting.
I highly recommend you go to an AA meeting. You will be better for it even if you never return. I am.

Foto: I don't think there was any need for correction in the first place. I thought it was fine just how it was written

You didn't put anyone down, just an opinion.
