Hi, Lori! I just found this thread. Many of us have stumbled over less--I know I have. SR has pulled my butt out of the fire many times. In addition to the support and encouragement not to drink, the folks here have just really made me feel better a lot of times.

I'm sorry that I just now noticed this thread! Don't worry, we don't turn on our own. If it was easy to quit there wouldn't be any need for SR. Don't beat yourself up- quitting can be tough under the best circumstances. Honestly I don't know that I would deal with it any better. I hope your doctors caught it early and have a good plan of attack.

SR will always be here for you. Quitting is still important, maybe more important than ever. You will need to protect your health to deal with your illness.
