temporarily a problem
temporarily a problem
Yesterday I got the news from the Dr. I had been waiting for. I am very happy and relieved. Over and over I hear the advice, just don't let it make you drink.
I have seen so many people fall because something in their life did not go the way they wanted it to. We will all be faced with trials and problems on this journey called life. It is up to us to make the right choices. I saw this and it really put it well. Thank you all for the comfort and advice you recently gave me. You are a wonderful group of people that I am proud to walk along with.

Do I ever know that! Bummed out=drink. Happy, hey! Lets celebrate! =drink.
problems are always going to be there. drinking never solves any of them. Somehow or another in the mind of an alcoholic a drink suddenly became the fix all for everything.
I had to tell myself and still do when i have a problem if i drink i'll have 2 problems and well 1 problem is already more then enough!!
I also tell myself in my low points when i feel like i got nothing to be happy for "welp least i'm sober" somehow or another the mere fact that i'm sober still is enough to pull me out of lifes little holes!
