Well, seems cow threads are done.

So maybe we'll do turtle threads instead. Why not, huh?

Gilmer 09-12-2014 03:49 PM

I have every confidence that she'll be back.

Meanwhile, feel free to regale us with your (mis)adventures!

trachemys 09-12-2014 03:54 PM

unfortunately, I have no misadventures today. Twas a normal day. but, if you gave me a nickle, I'd break down in tears. I've been sensitive today. I'm man enough to own that and say it. Big, strong, weepy man. That's me!

Gilmer 09-12-2014 03:59 PM

Sorry, buddy!

RobbyRobot 09-12-2014 04:02 PM

Being sensitive rocks.
Sorry you seem to be having a tough time?

Feel free to share, friend.

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:06 PM

I am having an emotional day. And there's my buddy Gilmer. It's not often that I can say this: I can cry on a moment, today. JHC, what the heck is going on with me?

RobbyRobot 09-12-2014 04:15 PM

Feelings are best just felt has been my experience when I'm unsure on the whys I'm being emotional. I really try to keep an open mind and just let them be whatever and however they want to be felt.

I know I'm fully able to push down my feelings whenever, and so I'm not all that fearful of what I feel, you know?

Tears provide a wonderful momentum to a deeper appreciation of ourselves be they tears of joy or hurts, tears all the same.

When your face is full with tears, are your thoughts concentrated or scattered?

Totally depends.

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:21 PM

Not the diapers depends....sorry

Ionray 09-12-2014 04:22 PM

Know what you mean. The other day I went to a meeting, nothing special or different, just having a normal day... And in the middle of a share about how grateful I am about how much better my life is now, I just lost it and started crying. Came out of nowhere. Simultaneously embarrassing and awesome.

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:23 PM

Robby, when I cry, I know why I cry, I know for what I cry and I know what I should not cry for. I know my emotions.

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:24 PM

Hey Ionray, welcome to the sane house

RobbyRobot 09-12-2014 04:24 PM

Depends on external circumstances? Internal? Both?

How we direct ourselves through our experiences can really make or break us, you know? We are the captains of our own ship, yes?

biminiblue 09-12-2014 04:25 PM

Sometimes I cry and then have to think about what happened later, Trach.

This week we (and by we I mean I) could blame the Super Moon. Where's Lenina? I bet she has all kinds of planetary shenanigans we could blame.

Yes. Shenanigans has been called.

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:25 PM

Yea, we're the sane ones

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:29 PM

Shenanigans!

blame it on bimini

JHC, i've lost my mind. totally lost the question i wanted to ask.

biminiblue 09-12-2014 04:31 PM

Where's Cow?

Maybe you should use purple comic sans.

freshstart57 09-12-2014 04:46 PM

Comic sans? Ey yi yi. Although purple and cows certainly go together.

The author of the original poem I've Never Seen a Purple Cow also wrote:
Ah, yes, I wrote the "Purple Cow"—
I'm Sorry, now, I wrote it;
But I can tell you Anyhow
I'll Kill you if you Quote it!

trachemys 09-12-2014 04:59 PM

I hope cow finds this. :D

trachemys 09-12-2014 05:00 PM

You're in so much trouble.

soberlicious 09-12-2014 05:07 PM

I don't mind crying. Sometimes I'm more emotional than other times. I don't analyze it too much I just go with it.

ForgetfulKevin 09-12-2014 06:23 PM

Oh, Turtle. So sorry to hear of this. Perhaps the Great Pumpkin will leave fish flakes in your stocking, yes?

fini 09-12-2014 06:44 PM

Turtle,
cows have to go graze. it's in their nature.
after that, they have to ruminate.
in their nature, too.

but you know all that:)

ForgetfulKevin 09-13-2014 06:39 AM

Now the Cow is gone
and the fields are gray
Looking for a thread
on an autumn day
empty skies are yearning
on such an autumn day

Stopped into a barn
I passed along the way
Got down on my knees
and I gnashed the hay
dreaming of a Cow-thread
on an autumn day

biminiblue 09-13-2014 09:52 AM

As an alcoholic, I must say I like it when people beg me to do something. I wonder if this ploy will work with Cow.

Nah. I did see her in Robot's thread, though. Nice to know you're still around, Cowgirl.

desypete 09-13-2014 09:57 AM
