Bh,
here are the reasons you've brought forward for continued drinking:
-low testosterone
-no helping doctors
-anxiety
-cravings
-erectile dysfunction
and now you're shooting down everything anyone says.
in effect what i'm hearing you say is: i can't do this because of whatever. in essence: i can't do this and you don't understand.
Bh, your reasons aren't reasons for drinking and inability to quit.
but we've all been able to find 'reasons' when we needed them. wanted them.
what's important to you here? genuine question....

What I believe is that a low testosterone count or ED is a poor excuse for drinking, no matter how many times you consult Google for evidence to the contrary. And that testosterone therapy is hardly risk-free.
One of the cautions in undertaking testosterone therapy for men is risk factors for heart disease, such as drinking and smoking, besides that fact that there is no guarantee that it will work.

You didn't mention steroids before.
I had to remove a lot of the links because they linked to other forums. Thats against our rules.
Once again...continued drinking won't help your ED and it won't help your testosterone levels either.
I won't post links - you can do your own research.
the way forward seems pretty obvious to me, bh.
Put as much effort into not drinking as you do proving a point, and I reckon you'll be laughing, man.

Guys I'm seeing a nurse tomorrow and she will be referring me to a detox hospital as I mentioned before. I know full well that alcohol ALSO lowers T and causes problems in the performance department.
I have tried stopping on my own with meds which my doctor prescribed me but it didn't work out which is why I'll be detoxing in a hospital for 4 weeks and undergoing a relapse prevention programme.
Please don't think I'm making excuses and want to carry on drinking because I 100% do not.
I just cannot do it alone.

OK, so you have another physical problem. Drinking doesn't make it any better. What's your point? I know plenty of sober alcoholics who suffer from all kinds of physical afflictions, but they don't drink over them. The drinking doesn't HELP. And the drinking not only aggravates the particular condition you are complaining about, it brings about other physical, mental, and emotional problems.
Think it might be time to give it up?
Edit: Sorry, did not read your last post, somehow missed that. Glad you are making a plan.
