just realised im 400 day sober

I recently reached 13 months but Ihave now also reached 400 days without a drink

Remembering the days drinking saying I'm not alcoholic, not being able to go 24h without a drink

Can really relate to those trying to get sober it wasn't easy and to those that doubt if they are I was once you with my back up and just boost really and to scared to admit it glad i did

It is possible here I am 401 days sober

Well done, SoberWolf. This sounds to me like the sort of thing you deserve to have. You know, a life without addiction in it. Awesome!

I know it sounds cheesy but I still pinch myself thinking is this real did I really just pass 400 days

Yeas I did ! Not one drop of alcohol means the world to me

Remembering who I used to be helps me to compare it to this life I have now and there is no comparison

Always a newcomers I am still always learning don't want to get too big for my boots

Thank you evryone

That's GREAT!!!! Inspiring and although I am having to really keep the focus on 24 hours at a time - I look forward to tucking some good numbers under my belt.

As for the 24 hour thing - for me - this has been ridiculously easy so far(but only 3 1/2 weeks in) - BUT I have an event on my 30 day mark that is - well - one of my children's weddings - and it will be quite stressful (it's complicated but stressful due to major tensions over the last year or so)

It's great to hear how much joy sobriety has brought you

Its just because I literally remember whsa I was like didn't think I could ever stop remember crying down a phone while an evagenlical paramedic and aa turned up on the day I said I had a problem

I was a reclusive angry person blaming everyone for everything

I thought I'd be a monk if I got sober it scared me and plus there were days I couldn't drinking like iI couldn't even try to be sober

Being sober @32 is different as I have fallen behind in terms of life for the last 5 years I've been completely AWOL

I'm a different person with a newfound knowledge that alcohol nearly killed me and it really didn't make me happy

Being sober rocks you can call me out on it but if you think about it vi wouldn't be here now with you fine folk

Thank you op that was magic and thanks to all

Fantastic posts, soberwolf and a brilliant achievement!

Doing it at the tender age of 32 is amazing - you'll catch up (and much more) before you know it

Delighted for you, my friend xxx

Ah that's a brilliant post to read mate. Great work on your recovery.

Similar age, same city and similar story and that's a very inspiring post for me so early on my journey, 17 days each day at a time.

Congrats and keep posting as I like your stuff !
