Amazed how healthy I feel

I remember all the health problems I was having from binge drinking. I thought I was having heart attacks, strokes, cancer etc. I am grateful to feel healthy.

I wonder whether I would appreciate feeling good or take as good of care of my health if I didn't feel so bad in the past. If alcoholism gave me anything, it is the appreciation for feeling healthy again.

I thank god every day for my health and every day I feel good and hope it always stays this way.

And it can get better each day we don't pick up that first drink. Hang in there.

BE WELL

I have never been so unhealthy but its not due drink related stuff.
Probably was always going to happen.

But.......the biggest difference for me is I am not scared to go to the doctor anymore. I used to dread it. I would put it off and then if i went i was convinced they were going to say, your liver is bust!!!!! Although they would probably say it in more eloquent medical speak!!!!

Now I am first in the queue.
I have nothing to hide.
I bet they see my name and think 'oh no its that woman, the one that has not had a drink for over 2 years!!!'

But I am glad you all feel better.

I cannot imagine drinking on top of the illnesses i have now.
The thought of dealing with a hangover now is unthinkable,

Lets all keep well xx
