I was told by a liver specialist that I had fatty liver also.He just looked at me and smiled,then he says you can get rid of your fatty liver issue if you lose 20 pounds. I was 280 now down to 268. I can also feel the pain in right side and around to the back,,I think when the pain stops ,,that will indicate when I have reduced the fatty liver back to somewhat normal.

Im 38 ,,10 years straight heavy abuse on vodka and heineken. Now pushing 1 year sober,and trying to rebuild myself thru and thru.

My Dad drank himself to death around your age. I would have loved for him to come to me and say he couldn't mind the kids because he was checking into detox.
