It's been over a year, but I am back. Question about night sweats

And what a massive year it has been.
If I didn't have the dates to confirm it I'd think it had been longer.
I have completely forgotten how to use this site, and where to post. Oops.

Well, here is me, on day 3. I have started taking naltrexone and I am having some pretty bad side effects. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pains, dizziness and loss of appetite. This is only my third tablet, so I hope it gets better! If not I see my doctor on Thursday and can discuss it then.
If found an amazing doctor. I've never had a good one before. I also have a supportive partner, which leads to my question.

I've been sweating so badly at night, for about the last few weeks or months. So badly that I have to get up and change multiple times in the night, and them get back in my soaking wet bed. It doesn't happen on the nights that I drink, though.
Also it stinks really bad. Like toxic.
I am assuming it's alcohol withdrawal related, so my question is, how many more nights of this do I have to deal with before it eases? As I said, I'm on day 3. I was drinking maybe 16 beers a night probably 3 nights a week. I am a large late 20s female.

Thank you all in advance. I hope this time I can stick this through.

Also, I just realise that if I stop drinking so many beers and get healthy I might be able to stop having to say I'm large. I've put on 15kg in the last couple of years through beer alone

Welcome back Wilting, glad to year you've made the choice to get sober again. Glad to hear your doctor is involved, if things get too rough of course give a call.

I drank exclusively beer and lost about 15 lbs myself after I quit drinking for about a year - it definitely makes a difference to get rid of those empty calories and eat some good food. Excercise never hurts either. Be well and be safe, and don't be a stranger!

Welcome back Wilting!!

Withdrawals will ease with time, just let the body do it's thing and you'll get there!!
