Discouragement and hope
Monday morning about 9 am i was going to the store (grocery). A friend of mine pulled up in front of the liquor store nearby. For it opens at nine (trust me i know). I drove off because he is a bad influence on me. Imagine that. I felt so horrible for him And for myself because that was me.
2pm a high school friend stopped in. He had been homeless for many years. I almost didnt recognize him. He looked so great. He has 28 days of sobriety has a fulltime job and will be getting his own apartment next month.
There is always hope. |
