Day six.
Day six.
Well, day six came and went without any big issues. I think I found a good way to get me in the mood for getting home on Fridays and staying the beck put: hitting the gym! I work in the corporate office for a health club company, and I usually just get my pump on (lol) during lunch. Yesterday, however, I decided to enjoy my lunch and just hit the gym afterwards , fully aware that I might be anxious to go out and party on down. Not this time! I came home, ate brownies and milk (bad post workout meal, I know), and fell asleep a few hours later. Nice!
Hey Faceless
Welcome to this wonderful community. Nice job on Day6 and with the workout! Activity of all sorts is such a great way to pave the road for good thoughts on hard days. Way to go!
Check out the Weasel's Weekender thread as well. This has been a seriously great way to not only get through a weekend sober, but enjoy it while there and look forward to the next one. People have such interesting lives and it is a constant reminder that regardless of our current feelings, the experience is shared and we are definitely not alone.

So far so good on my seventh day! The upstairs neighbor came up to me and asked if I wanted to help him drink some beer. I told him I quit drinking, but right now I got a little urge hehe. I got plans to do some crafts tonight, as well as some reading, so no can do with the tasty brew! (Beer is my favorite, hehehe!)
