Hello everybody! New here!
I'm just introducing myself. I've been lurking these pages for quite some time when I finally decided to become a member. You all seem like a bunch of fabulous and supportive people!
I'm going to keep this short. I have been on and off with sobriety for the past six months. The longest I made it was 3 weeks. Now.... I am currently on day 4 of sobriety. My main vice was red wine. Bottles upon bottles of red wine with a bit of hard liquor when out at bars.
Enough is enough though. I'll share more as time passes but I'm glad to be part of this forum! Congrats to everyone on their sobriety!

Welcome Rosie. There is a wealth of information on these pages to absorb. When I recognized that alcohol might be a problem I was not ready to leave my best friend behind so my pains were extended until a moment of clarity came and I began AAs therapy processes. It takes time but getting sober for oneself and honesty about my drinking along with accepting I could not drink in safety was my start into sobriety.
