I havent been on here in years. I still drink and its really ticking me off. I have very little money so I get bored and then I think about what to do and alcohol always comes to the top of the list. Its cheap. I live in the Chicago area and you generally have to have some good money to do something around here. My friends all are married and Im not dating right now. Im focused on my work and money problems and dont want to deal with GF at the moment. Well.... I cant AFFORD a GF at the moment. That just takes money away from my bills.
Anyhow, is there some group or meetup around the Ohare area I can go to? Im really trying to stay healthy here.

I recommend starting with open speaker meetings. Go a little early and chat with people before and after. Tell 'em you're a newcomer.
